Associate Director of Creative Heidi Wiren Kebe is developing a reputation at Carnegie Mellon. At the University Libraries, she’s helped establish a robust exhibition program. She’s also traveled across the United States and internationally to develop and exhibit her own creative work.

Engaging Students In Community Data

For Data Education Librarian Emma Slayton, it’s critical that students at Carnegie Mellon have the opportunity to explore working with data in an organic, interesting, and community-based way. That’s why she created an interactive installation on the window just outside her office, allowing visitors in Sorrells Library to help shape information gathered about themselves and their peers.

Hunt Library Now Offering Extended Hours

Hunt Library is again offering extended operating hours to accommodate increased demand leading up to finals from April 20th through May 5th. Monday-Friday hours will extend from midnight to 3:00 a.m. Weekend hours will extend until 12:00 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The building will only be accessible with your university ID card after 11:00 p.m.
