Huajin Wang is a Senior Librarian and a former director of the Open Science & Data Collaborations program at Carnegie Mellon University Libraries. Currently she supports the School of Computer Science and the CMU Cloud Lab with their research and education needs. She helps students and faculty find, access, and evaluate information, learn foundational research and data skills, and navigate data sharing and preservation policy and practices. She is an active member of the open science community and served on the leadership team at the Center for Open Science. She works with a wide range of stakeholders to develop programs and initiatives that help research communities make their research more open, reproducible, and reusable. She holds a PhD in Cell Biology, with expertise spanning membrane trafficking, lipid metabolism, cell imaging, and computational analysis of high throughput and multi-omics data.
