Fantasies and Failures Film Screening

In honor of the 200th anniversary of the publication of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, the Carnegie Mellon University Libraries and the Department of English is pleased to announce a screening of the submissions to Frankenstein: Fantasies & Failures – A Short Film Competition.
To participate on the competition, Carnegie Mellon students (either as individuals or teams) had to submit a film no more than five minutes long dealing with some aspect of technology – terrifying or enlightening, positive or negative, passionate or ambiguous.
The winning entries will receive funding to submit their film to the festival (or festivals) of their choice.
- First place prize - $200 towards film festival submission fees
- Second place prize - $100 towards film festival submission fees
