Constitution Day Lecture - Immigration Executive Orders: Putting our Courts to the Test

Jacqueline B. Martinez is founder of JBM Legal, LLC, a full service law firm dedicated to providing legal representation to the Pittsburgh immigrant community since 2002. Drawing on her extensive experience as an immigration attorney, Martinez will present an overview of the executive orders currently in play, explain how the law applies to the CMU students’ experience, and outline how the courts are dealing with them and Congress rule or acquiescence.
