Beginning on February 24, CMU's 2nd annual Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition kicks off with six qualifying rounds. The contest features doctoral candidates who have accepted the challenge to convey the significance of their research to a non-specialist audience in just 3 minutes. The rounds are organized roughly by college, as the participants' schedules allow. Two winners from each round will move on to compete in the 3MT Championship on Tuesday, April 7, in Rashid Auditorium.
